Let It Bleed Blood Drive!

KGON was proud to present our 1st Annual Let It Bleed Blood Drive with the American Red Cross on July 27th-31st. A BIG thank you to everyone that gave blood or volunteered! We helped the Red Cross collect more than 3,000 pints of blood! Each pint of blood helps save three lives, so KGON listeners helped save a total of 9,027 lives!

The Red Cross is always in need of blood and volunteers. Visit www.redcrossblood.org to find out about how you can donate, who is eligible to donate, where the blood you donate locally will go, and what blood types the Red Cross is in critical need of.

Also, thanks to The Oregon State Fair and Sleep Country Amphitheater for providing concert tickets and Kettleman Bagel Company and Pepsi Max for the bagels and drinks.
