Things to do in the Portland area (and beyond):

Now - Nov. 4: In case you haven't had enough of Halloween fun, there's the 13th Door Haunted House  at 3855 SW Murray Boulevard in Beaverton.

Nov 1 – 5: Northwest Filmmakers’ Festival features works from northwest states plus workshops at the Portland Art Museum on Park Avenue.

Nov 2 – 11: Hump! Featuring five-minute explicit films by amateurs of all persuasions at Revolution Hall, with prizes based on audience votes.

Nov 3 – 5: SkiFever and Snowboard Show at Portland Expo Center is where to shop for new and used snow gear.  

Sat, Nov 4- U of O Ducks vs. Washington Huskies in Seattle.

Sat, Nov 4- OSU Beavers vs. California Golden Bears in Berkley.

Nov 4 (11am-1pm): Fresh Film Northwest at the Portland Art Museum. See short films made by Northwest teenagers.  Free.

Nov 4 (6 to 10pm): Wines of France in Lake Oswego.  Music, tastes of French wine, and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Nov 4 - Dec. 16: Festival of Trees at Divine Consign in Vancouver.

Nov 7 (8:30pm):  The Poetry Brothel at Star Theater for age 21+. Inspired by 19th-century bordellos of Paris and New Orleans, with a rotating cast of poets in an speakeasy-style environment with a bar and live music.

Nov 9 – 12: The Portland Metro Dealers RV Show at Portland Expo Center. See the latest recreational vehicles and accessories.

Nov 10 (6 to 9pm): Lit Crawl Portland is held in several locations and features local authors reading their works in dozens of bars, cafes, bookstores, art galleries, and performance spaces downtown.

Nov 10 – 12: Holiday Food & Gift Festival features 300 exhibitors selling art, crafts, jewelry, clothing, toys, Christmas decor, and gourmet foods in the Oregon Convention Center.

Nov 10 – 12: Gorge Wine Weekend has dining, tasting, touring, and talking events in Hood River and beyond.

Nov 11: Portland Veterans Day Parade begins at 9:30 a.m.

Nov 11: Veterans Parade at Fort Vancouver is 11am with ceremony at 10am.

Nov 11: BelgianFest at Bailey’s Taproom.  Belgian-style beers from Oregon breweries.

Nov 11: Wordstock brings together independent publishers, booksellers, authors, and food vendors in and near Portland Art Museum.

Nov 11 (5pm VIP 4pm): Northwest Food & Wine Festival at the Oregon Convention Center. Sample 600 wines and a variety of gourmet foods from 50 restaurants.

Nov 11: Frankenstein’s Comicbook Swap. Browse comic books, toys, cards, buttons, and posters at the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
