1994 - An electrician spots the body of Nirvana singer-guitarist Kurt Cobain in a room above the garage of his Seattle home at 8:40 am [PT]. At 7:05 pm, police confirm that it is Cobain. The 27-year-old had killed himself with a 20-gauge shotgun three days earlier.
