1998 - Monica Lewinsky signs a deal to write a book about her affair with President Bill Clinton.
1995- Greg Maddox of the Atlanta Braves becomes the first major league pitcher to win four consecutive Cy Young Awards.

1983 – A fan at a Police show in Dallas suffers a broken arm when a security guard throws a man on top of her.
