PEEK AT THE WEEK: Lotta good music out there.
If you're up for a road trip, FOGHAT plays at River Rhythms in Albany Thursday night.
Feelin' bluesy? Duff's Garage has an exciting double bill on Friday with Rip Cat Records recording artists THE 44's. Known as one of the best blues-roots-rock music bands on the planet. Worth checking out. Plus, one of my favorites opening, THE BIG MONTI TRIO.
COLD BLOOD at the Roseland on Saturday.
And, LEON RUSSELL's back in town playing at the Aladdin on Sunday.
After all that music, you're probably gonna be hungry so head to THE BITE OF OREGON, Friday thru Sunday at Waterfront Park. It's a benefit for Special Olympics and you can stuff your face with some of the tastiest foods in the Northwest.
