Steve Lukather's solo Transition

Hi there...Steve Lukather is not only the co founder of Toto, he's recognized as one of the most talented and sought after guitarists on the planet. He's played on over 600 albums (no, that's not a typo) including recordings from Michael Jackson, Roger Waters, Don Henley, Stevie Nicks, Cheap Trick, and Miles Davis. In addition to all that, Steve is also an accomplished singer-songwriter and solo artist. His seventh solo album "Transition" has just been  Guests on the album include, Phil Collen of Def Leppard, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Chickenfoot, Greg Bissonette, Lee Sklar and Steve's long time collaborator C.J. Vanston just to name a few. This is going to be a very busy year for Steve as he gets set to hit the road with his own band in support of Transition, as well as another go 'round with Ringo Starr's All Star Band and the 35th anniversary of Toto. It was my pleasure to chat with Steve about the new album and all that 2013 holds. I hope you enjoy it!

Steve Lukather
Steve Lukather is an amazingly awesome guitar player, and its nothing short of genius. (besides being my bud) To me, its a, if you will, a part 2 of "All's Well, that End's Well." It shows pain, pride, and general worth of self being. Shows his growth over the last few years, as a musician, and human being. In short, BRILLIANT!!! TOTO will be touring to support their 35 year anniversary, with a tour to go along as well. If you have not seen TOTO, I really encourage you to go check them out. They are nothing short of spectacular live.

The Fall?
Did Luke actually mention either Toto or his solo tour in Portland during the fall??? Toto hasn't played in Portland since the Hydra tour from what I've heard. I saw them at OSU and then the next day in Eugene during the Isolation tour back in 1985(?) Then at the Gorge in Wa during the 7th One tour in 1988 and finally in Phoenix in 2001. It would be a lot of fun seeing them again. I also saw Luke play with Larry Carlton at the Alladin theatre back in 2001 I believe.
