Laissez les bon temps rouler! It's Mardi Gras, or Fat Tuesday!

Since my family (Mom's side) is from the great state of Louisiana, I love the whole Mardi Gras thing. I was not raised in the Catholic church, but had friends and family who were, and I understood this was the last great blow out before Lent began. That's the part I loved, and still do. If you've never been to New Orleans, it must go on your bucket list. Yes, even after Katrina had her way with the city.
