Widmer Bros. Oktoberfest
Get ready for Munich-style ales and German bratwursts as one of Portland’s most-loved Oktoberfest celebrations will take place Saturday, September 11 from 3 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., at Widmer Brothers Brewing Co. Widmer Brother’s Oktoberfest is a tribute to the world-renowned celebration in Munich, Germanyfest. The festival features a variety of craft beers, traditional German food, accordion players, and live music throughout the day. Each year, thousands of Oregonian’s attend the festival; this year’s celebration is expected to draw more than 5,000 craft beer fanatics. Treesy Rider Poker Run
Join KGON and the World Forestry Center on Saturday, Sept. 25th for the Treesy Rider Poker Run benefiting the World Forestry Center. Starting at the Discovery Museum in beautiful Washington Park riders will take a scenic 70+ mile route through rolling green vineyards and roads less traveled with breathtaking views of Mt. Hood along the way. This incredible journey ends at Magness Memorial Tree Farm, a beautiful 80 acre outdoor recreational area, where riders will be greeted with The End of the Road Party including music, food, brews, a 50/50 drawing, entertainment, raffle prizes, vendors and 92.3 KGON!
